Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart,
and you’ll never walk alone,
you’ll never walk alone.
Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart,
and you’ll never walk alone,
you’ll never walk alone…

Another gorgeous spring Saturday in Los Angeles. I played it close to home and enjoyed the quite company of myself. I’ve recently dissolved my apprehensions of being a solo diner so I pulled one of my bikes out and cruised down the hills of Angeleno Heights to grab a bite to eat and a cup of coffee.

Later I walked bare foot around the neighborhood picking flowers wishing I was close to either the mountains or the beach. I must admit a walk with out a dog is lonely and seems entirely pointless. The absence was loud. I miss my Bofa. Talk of a new puppy on the horizon but busy schedules and prior consequences currently reside in my front seat and not a baby brindle Frenchie.

Tomorrow is another day. I’ll continue to walk on.

Made with love for my boyfriend’s birthday.

Because a whole lemon meringue pie for two people is just ridiculous. Instead I spent half a day in the kitchen baking these almost too cute to eat Mini Lemon Meringue Tarts. Yes, I only made Six. I did however make a full batch of lemon curd. Yes, I did get caught with the fridge door open at TWO A.M. sneaking spoonfuls like it was good for my health. No, I was not embarrassed. Just nervous about the thought of having to share my dwindling bowl of delicious Lemond Curd. Yes, I might have a problem. No, I don’t need help.

When I started this blog,

my intentions were to stay on the anonymous side of it all.

I guess I’ve had a change of heart and would like to ask you to excuse my absence. Please stay tuned I’d like to introduce myself properly!

For Attractive lips, speak words of kindness.

For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people.

For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.

For beautiful hair, let a child run their fingers through it once a day.

For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone.

People, more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed.

Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms.

As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands,

one for helping yourself and the other for helping others.”
